How To Play

  2. Gather supplies using the lists on each card.
  3. Set a one-minute timer for each challenge.
  4. Keep score as players go head-to-head.

The Games In The Kit

Here's a quick look at the games in our kit. 

1) Ghostly Stack

What You Need:

  • White plastic cups
  • Black marker
  • Table or flat surface

How To Play: Draw simple ghost faces on cups. Players build the tallest freestanding tower in sixty seconds. If it collapses they rebuild. Tallest tower at the buzzer wins.

2) Candy Claw

What You Need:

  • Small wrapped Halloween sweets
  • Plastic tongs
  • Paper plate

How To Play: Place a pile of sweets in the centre. Players use tongs to move sweets onto their plate. No hands. Most sweets on the plate when time ends wins.

3) Bat Toss

What You Need:

  • Paper bat cut outs
  • Two or three bowls or buckets
  • Tape to mark a throwing line

How To Play: Set the containers a few steps beyond the line. Players toss bats into the targets for one minute. Count the bats that land inside. Highest total wins.

4) Ghost Bowl

What You Need:

  • White plastic cups with ghost faces
  • Small soft ball
  • Tape to mark a bowling line

How To Play: Arrange cups in a bowling triangle. Players roll the ball and knock down as many as possible. Reset quickly and repeat within the minute. Total cups down is the score.

5) Pumpkin Roll

What You Need:

  • Mini pumpkins
  • Start and finish lines

How To Play: Players push a mini pumpkin with their nose from start to finish. No hands. Longest distance or first to finish within sixty seconds wins.

6) Skull Scoop

What You Need:

  • Plastic skulls or ping pong balls
  • Plastic spoon
  • Two bowls

How To Play: Skulls start in one bowl. With the spoon held in the mouth, players transfer skulls to the empty bowl. Most transferred by the end wins.

7) Mummy Wrap

What You Need:

  • Toilet paper rolls

How To Play: Pair up. One player wraps, one is the mummy. Wrap from shoulders down, face uncovered. At the buzzer judges choose the most complete and neat mummy. Swap roles for another round if you like.

8) Spider Web Shoot

What You Need:

  • White yarn or crepe streamer paper
  • Masking tape
  • Plastic spiders
  • Tape to mark a throwing line

How To Play: Create a web on a wall or doorway with yarn or streamers, tape ends securely, leave some strands sticky side out. Mark a throwing line a few feet away and place spiders at the line.

On go, players toss spiders one by one. Only spiders that stick and stay until time ends count. Highest total wins.

Scoring And Easy Formats

  • Points party: Everyone plays each game. Award points for first, second, third, and participation. Add totals to find the overall winner.
  • Tournament: Run quick head to head rounds until a final match crowns the champion.
  • Teams: Split into teams, mix individual and team games, add scores to find the winning team.
