The Academy Awards Ceremony will take place on 15th March 2026, and if you love movies (or just love having an excuse to watch more of them), this is where the fun begins.

What is the Oscar Movie Watch Checklist?

This printable is a simple, satisfying checklist featuring movies that received Oscar nominations for 2026. Each film appears once, so it’s easy to use without feeling overwhelming.

Rather than listing everything in a long A–Z format, the movies are grouped by watching mood, making it much more binge-friendly. You can pick what you’re in the mood for and press play.

It’s not about watching everything or being an awards expert. It’s just a fun way to turn the run-up to the Oscars into something a bit more interactive.

How to use the checklist

You can use this movie watch list however you like:

• Plan solo movie nights and tick films off as you go
• Choose a section and binge-watch over a weekend
• Host a low-key movie night with friends and let everyone vote on what to watch
• Watch as a family and see how many you can fit in before Oscar night

There’s also space at the bottom to track how many you’ve watched in total, which makes ticking things off even more satisfying.
