The Happy Halloween bunting template is perfect if you are looking for a free printable Halloween paper decoration template.

This free printable Halloween bunting kit also makes an easy craft activity for both parties and classrooms.

It's a simple craft activity for kids to colour in and make at a Halloween party at home or school.

In fact it is a great learning craft activity for kids learning their letters and how to spell!

This free printable bunting is a great way to reduce the cost of Halloween whether you use it as a craft activity or for party decor.

There's a set of coloured pennants with letters to colour in (or leave blank) and a set of black and white set where the whole pennant can be coloured in.

Colour Set

The kit has a set of colourful letters spelling out HAPPY HALLOWEEN in a seasonal palette of soft orange, purple, dark brown, pink and white.

There is one letter per pennant. The letters themselves are white so they can be coloured in.

Each letter is accompanied by a cute Halloween icon, including ghosts, witches hats, trick or treat candy, bats and cats.

Black & White Set

We've also created a black and white set perfect for colouring in every detail on each pennant.

This Happy Halloween bunting makes a great Halloween party decoration for any home, classroom or venue.

You can even place it as a banner in a front window or on the front porch to let trick or treaters know they free to call.

How To Hang The Bunting

Here is a quick guide to printing out and hanging the bunting. There are three main ways to get the job done.

Stick It Up!

Add double-sided sticky tape to the back of each letter and position them on a wall or window.

String It Up!

The more traditional way of hanging the banner pennants is to thread string or ribbon through them and hang them.

You will need to punch two holes near the top left and top right of each pennant. Then thread the string or ribbon through the holes until you have all the pennants threaded on. (Either thread each word together or the whole HAPPY HALLOWEEN).

Start your threading at the front of the first letter, as this ensures that most of the string or ribbon is hidden.

Fold It

Want to get fancy and hide the thread completely? Then you can use the folding method to hang your banner.

  • Cut around the banner but leave the white margin at the top
  • Fold the white part of the paper behind so you can’t see it from the front
  • Flip the paper over and add your string under the fold and tape the fold down
