57 Pamper Party Ideas Teens Will Love
Share
Who doesn’t love a pamper party?! I have so enjoyed putting this list of ideas together to help you plan a pamper party for your teen (or tween).
I’ve included ideas for DIY spa treatments, delicious treats and fun activities to keep everyone pampered and entertained and the birthday girl (or boy) feeling super special.
Whilst pampering treatments and experiences will always be at the heart of a pamper party, you need to also think fun and frivolity to bring the party to life.
You could even take the party up a notch by making it into a sleepover party.
Let’s dive straight in with the heart and soul of a pamper party…
PAMPERING BEAUTY TREATMENTS
Of course, pampering beauty treatments are the heart and soul of this party. So here are a few ideas for age-appropriate treatments to delight the guests.
1. MANICURE STATION
Set up a manicure station where the girls can have mini manicures. I’d suggest it is a good idea for someone to be on hand to paint the nails of tween girls. This could be a parent or an old sibling, or you could hire a manicurist as a special treat.
If you are going for a DIY manicure station, the things you will need include the following:
- Nail polish remover
- Cuticle sticks
- Cuticle oil
- Hand cream
- Nail polish – either raid your own or buy some in age-appropriate colours
- A nail dryer lamp – particularly for gel nail polish

Do remember things like checking with parents that tween girls are allowed to have their nails done, if they are ok with gel polish being used and if there are any no-go colours (I’d suggest sticking to neutrals or fun sparkles anyway!).
Oh, and don’t forget there is no point doing anything other than a very neutral manicure if the girls have to go to school the next day or so after the party!!
And one last thought. If nail painting is a no-no (this could be the case with younger tweens), you could use nail stickers instead.
2. FOOT SPA/PEDICURE STATION
Foot spas are lovely and fun. You don’t need to buy a foot spa. You can easily create a DIY at-home foot spa with the following:
- A big bowl of warm water (a plastic bowl is a good idea for younger kids)
- Bubble bath or bath bomb
- A couple of towels
- A simple pedicure kit, like a pumice, scrub brush and foot cream
If you want to go the extra mile, you could offer some simple reflexology-style foot massages, but I think this will elicit more giggles than relaxation from tween girls!
3. FACE MASKS
Face masks are hugely popular with tweens and teens, and a pamper party wouldn’t be a pamper party without them!!
Teens tend to favour sheet masks with lots of enticingly active-sounding ingredients. Sheet masks are mess-free, so that’s an added bonus.
However, where is the fun in a face mask that doesn’t involve getting messy?! So you might want to invest in the kind of masks that get smeared on.
You might even fancy making a DIY face mask recipe or getting all the ingredients and getting the kids to make their own as part of the pamper party fun.
Whichever route you decide to go down, do make sure to check with parents for allergies ahead of the party.
Easy homemade face mask recipe
These are the ingredients for a simple homemade moisturising face mask to make enough for four face masks:
- 1 x medium-sized avocado
- 2 x tablespoons of runny honey
- 2 x tablespoons of olive oil
Remove the stone from the avocado, scoop the contents into a bowl and mash with a fork. Add the honey and olive oil and stir until the mixture is smooth.
Provide thin slices of cucumber to place over their eyes for the full spa-treatment look!
4. HAIR BRAIDING AND STYLING
Hair braiding is a great activity to include. There are loads of really great hair braiding tutorials on TikTok.
I’ve also found this really useful YouTube video that walks you through how to do five different kinds of hair braids:
- Double-dutch braids
- French plait
- Fishtail braids
- French rope braids
- Double French braids
If you are good with hair, you could offer to do the braiding yourself or set up the tutorial and let the girls try the braiding.
If braids aren’t your daughter’s thing, how about setting up a hair styling station with curling tongs, hair straighteners and accessories for the girls to experiment with different hairstyles.
5. FACE PAINTING AND TEMPORARY TATTOOS
Face painting and tattooing aren’t strictly speaking spa treatments. However, younger tweens might like to have their faces painted or enjoy sticking on temporary tattoos as part of their pampering experience.
These Fun Time party tattoos are really lovely.
If you fancy providing temporary tattoos for cooler teens, Inked by Dani has a really good selection.
PAMPER PARTY ACTIVITIES
If you want to make the party more interactive than the guests sitting around being pampered, you could include some activities to keep them occupied.
These are some activities that would sync well with a pamper party for girls:
- Lip balm making
- Bath bomb making
- Create a selfie booth with accessories.
- Pop on a tween or teen movie. The Parent Trap or The Princess Diaries are cult classics for tweens, and Clueless comes to mind for teens.
- Choose some party games from this big list of teen party games.
- Provide a relaxing craft activity, like friendship bracelets or rock painting
Fun Party Games Fill The Gaps
Not every minute of a pamper party can be filled with pampering activities and treats.
Printable party games are great for the in-between moments and when the girls are relaxing.
I've created a set of Spa Party games that are perfect for a pamper party.
PAMPER PARTY DECOR
It is pretty easy to create a pamper party vibe with stuff you already have around your home, such as cushions and throws.
But if you’d like to create a really fabulous spa-party vibe, how about using some of the following ideas:
- String fairy lights around the room
- Set up essential oil diffusers
- Honeycomb paper party decorations in pastel shades are very chic
- Create a balloon arch across the room where the party is being held
- Invest in some pretty party wear for serving food and drink (see below for more ideas on this)
PAMPER PARTY FOOD AND DRINK
No party is complete without fun food and drink. I think the best idea for creating a refreshment station for the party girls is to put together a really fabulous snack charcuterie board, choc full of mouthwatering goodies.
I’ve put together a guide over on my other site, Mums Make Lists, to creating visually appealing snack charcuterie boards with a big list of ideas for sweet and savoury board ideas.
As far as sweet treats go, pretty pastel macarons, iced cupcakes, and colourful candy always go down well, no matter the age of the girls.
If you want to go the whole hog and create a fancy afternoon tea, look at my guide to hosting a tea party for kids and teens and my big list of tea party menu ideas.
Pizza is always a failsafe option if you don’t fancy creating a charcuterie board. Cook a batch, slice and leave it out for the girls to grab when they feel peckish.
You can have some real fun creating a signature drink for the party.
DRINKS IDEAS FOR GIRLS’ PAMPER PARTY
Here are some ideas for delicious girls’ pamper party drinks:
- Mocktail – fruity and colourful, add slices of fruit or cocktail sparklers for added wow
- Big kilner-style jar with tap filled with chilled water infused with fresh mint and cucumber (or you could use a jug, but ideally a clear one for full effect)
- Healthy smoothies are great. Ensure they aren’t too thick if you want them to be thirst-quenching.
- Sparkling water with elderflower cordial is deliciously refreshing. Float some edible flowers in it for a nice touch.
- Exotic fruit juice combinations – you can usually find them readymade in the supermarket.
- Hot chocolate with marshmallows and squirty cream – this is a great option for a winter pamper party
PAMPER PARTY KIT / PARTY FAVOURS
A lovely idea for making all the girls feel special is to give them each a pamper party kit when they arrive at the party. This is also really useful if it will be a slumber party.
Alternatively, you could assemble a pamper party bag or choose one of these items to give a party favour.
Here are some ideas to include in a pamper party kit or use for girls’ party bags:
- Headband or scrunchie: For keeping hair off the face during treatments
- Spa-style slippers and/or robes: For an authentic spa feel
- Satin eye mask: For an extra touch of relaxation and calming
- Aromatherapy pulse point rollerballs: Great for calming and soothing.
- Lip balm: To soothe and hydrate, what tween or teen doesn’t love lip balm?!
- Face mist: Lovely and refreshing, especially after a face mask
- Pamper party T-shirt: Just a little fun memento
- Cosy socks: As an alternative to spa slippers to pad around in
- Nail polish: Use for the mini manicure, then get to take the polish home
- Bath bomb: To carry on the spa experience at home after the party
