Easter gets a little more complicated once kids turn into teens. They still want something fun. They just don’t want it to feel little-kid-ish and uncool (though they are still happy for it to involve chocolate!).

If you’re looking for Easter activities for teens that feel social, competitive, creative, and actually capture their attention, this guide gives you a mix of high-energy games, creative challenges, and structured icebreakers.

These activity ideas can be slotted into a party plan, ideas to make a family gathering more inclusive for teens or for high school classroom or youth group activities.

You can run one activity or combine several to build a full Easter plan.

Let’s dive in.

High-Energy Easter Activities For Teens

These ideas are perfect when you want to get them moving and laughing.

Spring Showers Challenge

Divide into teams.

One player wears a shower cap covered in whipped cream. Teammates toss Cheetos at their head. Each Cheeto that sticks earns one point.

Set a timer and rotate roles.

If you want a less messy version, skip the whipped cream and use tape on the shower cap instead.

This one is loud, competitive, and perfect for outdoor Easter gatherings.

Egg Push Race

Each player must roll an egg from start to finish using only their nose.

No hands allowed.

You can run this as individual heats, team relays, or timed trials.

It’s ridiculous in the best way.

Egg Walk Balance Challenge

Place two eggs on a plate and have players walk from start to finish without dropping them.

Make it harder by adding a short obstacle course, making them swap plates halfway, or timing the round.

Fancy Egg Roll Game

Create a start and finish line and have players roll eggs across the yard.

Add twists like backwards rolling, relay style, or one-hand-only rolling.

You can even award style points for creative technique.

Egg Tower Build-Off

Provide cut paper towel rolls and eggs.

Players must build the tallest tower alternating roll and egg: roll, egg, roll, egg.

Set a time limit.

Using boiled eggs is safest. Raw eggs are messier and riskier but definitely more dramatic.

The Treat Rope Challenge

Tie a rope between two trees or have two adults hold it.

String donuts or cookies onto the rope.

Players must eat the treat without using their hands.

First one finished wins.

It’s competitive and makes for great photos.

Pin Rabbit Tails

Give each player large pom-pom “tails” (cute pastel pompoms work well) with double-sided tape.

For five minutes, players try to attach tails to each other without getting caught.

Whoever has the most tails stuck to them at the end loses.

It becomes more like tag than a craft.

Jumping Bunnies Sack Race

Grab potato sacks or pillowcases and create a short race course.

Run heats and then a final round.

You can add obstacles, run team relays, or create a championship round.

It’s classic, fast, and surprisingly competitive with teens.

Creative and Social Easter Activities

These activities balance energy with creativity.

Pipecleaner Craft Station

Set up a table with plain headbands, pipe cleaners, and decorative extras.

Teens design their own bunny ears to wear and Easter characters to take home as a party favor.

You can vote for categories like Most Creative, Most Dramatic, or Most Minimalist.

Eggo Deco Challenge

Cover a plate with Easter stickers sticky side up.

Place a hard-boiled egg in the center.

Players must roll the egg around the plate and decorate it without touching it.

If the egg falls, they restart.

This works great as a timed challenge.

Easter Bake-Off

Give everyone the same decorating supplies.

Create judging categories like:

  • Best Pastel Design
  • Funniest Creation
  • Most Realistic Bunny

This roundup of Easter Bunny themed desserts is great for inspo.

While judging happens, run a quick Guess How Many Candies Jar Challenge for extra suspense. This cute printable for playing the game is included in our Easter Games Bundle

Easter Photo Challenge

Create themed prompts like:

  • Best pastel outfit shot
  • Funniest “bunny ears” pose using hands, shadows, or random objects
  • Easter flat lay challenge using only items you can find at the party
  • Action shot jump with everyone mid-air
  • Ultimate candy reaction photo when tasting a mystery Easter candy
  • Spring aesthetic close-up that looks artsy and seasonal
  • Easter emoji recreation using an Easter-themed emoji combo in real life
  • Most creative use of an egg as a prop without breaking it
  • Runway “model walk” pose holding an Easter prop
  • Golden hour glow photo that looks like an Easter magazine cover

Vote at the end.

Easter Memory Jar

Set out slips of paper and ask everyone to write a favorite Easter memory, something they’re looking forward to this spring, and a goal for the season.

It creates a thoughtful break between competitive games.

Structured Games That Keep Teens Engaged

When you want structure without chaos, these work beautifully.

Easter Trivia Showdown

Divide into teams and rotate through rounds like Classic Easter Trivia, Name That Rabbit, Traditions Around the World, and Fact or Fiction. All of these games are in our main Easter Games bundle and also in our Mini Easter Trivia Games Bundle

It works for mixed-age groups and feels organized without being overcomplicated.

These are perfect in between rounds.

Add a quick Word Scramble or Egg-Shaped Word Search for anyone who wants a relaxed challenge.

It keeps things flowing naturally.
