And here are a few other games ideas...

Truth or Dare (Tame Version)

Create cards with age-appropriate truth questions and silly dares. Examples might include "What's your most embarrassing moment?" or "Do your best dance move."

Keep the dares fun and kind - nothing that could make anyone uncomfortable or cause arguments.

Minute to Win It

Make use of the great outdoors for soggier, messier games...

These quick, silly challenges are perfect for high-energy teens. Try stacking cookies on foreheads, moving Maltesers with straws, or building card towers.

Keep a scoreboard and offer a small prize for the winner - perhaps first choice of breakfast the next morning or a small treat.

Would You Rather?

Write out lots of silly or interesting "Would You Rather?" questions on slips of paper. Take turns picking and answering them. This always gets everyone laughing and talking.

Scavenger Hunt

Create a list of things to find around the house or yard. Split into teams and race to see who can find everything first. You can make it as silly or as tricky as you like.

Karaoke

Use a karaoke app or YouTube to sing along to favourite songs. No need for a machine—just turn up the volume and let everyone have a go.

Board and Card Games

Have a few classics ready, like Uno, Monopoly, or a deck of cards for games like Go Fish or Crazy Eights. These are great for breaking the ice if not everyone knows each other well.

Food and Drinks That Always Wins

DIY Pizza Bar

Set out pizza bases (shop-bought is fine) and a variety of toppings so each girl can create her own masterpiece. This works well for accommodating different tastes and dietary needs.

While the pizzas bake, they can enjoy a starter of nachos or veggie sticks with dips.

Build-Your-Own Desserts

Ice cream sundae stations are always a hit. Provide vanilla ice cream and various toppings like chocolate sauce, sprinkles, chopped fruit and whipped cream.

For something different, try a s'mores bar (can be done in the microwave if you don't have a fire), a waffle bar, or a cookie decorating station.

Glow Up The Drinks

Create a signature mocktail for the night - perhaps a blend of fruit juices with sparkling water and fresh berries. Serve in plastic champagne flutes for an extra special touch.

Frozen smoothies make great refreshments for summer sleepovers. Blend frozen fruits with yoghurt and a splash of juice for a cooling treat.

Getting The Aesthetic Right

It doesn't take much to give a bedroom or outdoor space a cute sleepover aesthetic.

String up some fairy lights to create a twinkly atmosphere without spending much. Paper bunting or balloons in pretty colours can also transform a space quickly.

Place a few battery-operated candles around the room for a cosy glow without any fire hazards.

Morning After Plans

Easy Breakfast Ideas

Prepare a simple breakfast bar with items like bagels, spreads, fruit, yoghurt and cereal. This allows everyone to help themselves when they wake up.

For something special, make pancakes and let everyone choose their toppings. The smell might even help rouse sleepy teens!

Et voilà!

With just a bit of planning, you can turn a regular night into a summer sleepover everyone will utterly love.

Use these ideas, mix in your own favourites, and get ready for a night of fun, laughter, and making everyone feel right at home.
